Wemotaci can be accessed by forestry road R0-461 (25) West, as well as by train or by air. A landing strip accommodates bush planes; seaplanes can land on the river. The community is an important juncture in the regional snowmobile and ATV circuit. Snowmobile trail # 83 crosses the territory.
